Yinglish may be defined as Yiddish words that are used in colloquial English, such as kibitzen, a word on point, since its etymology traces the origin of the Yiddish language, i.e.: Yiddish kibitzen, from the German kiebitzen, in turn from German Kiebitz, pewit, kibitzer, from the Middle High German gībitz.
