Drawing From Experience-Rockville Pastor’s Cartoons Draw Community Together
Rockville, MD--May 20, 2014--He began his career as an artist. Rev. Jim Macdonell later employed his art as a pastor, a civil rights activist and the head of a non-profit. After retiring several years ago, he still is sketching out the best of humankind on his cartoon pad. Ingleside at King Farm Honors its Volunteers!
Ingleside at King Farm is fortunate to have many volunteers from both inside and outside of our community. This month Ingleside will hold its second annual “Volunteer Appreciation Day.” This year the special event features a Volunteer Fair and honors for those who give so generously of their time and talent. Festivities will include exhibits of volunteerism projects, a folksinger, and carnival treats like hot dogs, pretzels and ice cream.
