Ingleside Announces New COO and CFO Transition

ROCKVILLE, Md. – Ingleside, a premier, charitable not-for-profit provider of comprehensive older adult services in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, is pleased to announce Christine L. Podles, MA, HSE, LNHA as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and COO, Tim Myers is Ingleside’s full-time CFO.

Podles started her tenure as Ingleside at King Farm’s – one of three Ingleside life plan communities – executive director, and three years later became Ingleside’s vice president of operations.  Myers joined Ingleside as its CFO in September 2015, and two years later took on the COO position in addition to his CFO responsibilities.

“Christine’s commitment to Ingleside’s mission, vision, values and leadership; the depth and breadth of her operational experience; dedication to resident and staff engagement; and continuous improvement are some of the reasons why she earned the COO promotion,” said Ingleside’s President and CEO Lynn O’Connor.

Podles has over 25 years of experience as an accomplished Health Care Aging Services Leader with the vision and insight to strategically plan, direct and facilitate Ingleside’s operations to optimize emerging business opportunities. Her contributions led re-design efforts to support business growth, implement and manage change to drive organizational performance, and enhance revenue streams. She earned a Master of Arts from the prestigious Erickson School for the Management of Aging Services and a Bachelor of Science in communication and marketing from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.

“We want to express Ingleside’s appreciation for Tim’s leading operations and finance and his commitment to the Ingleside family’s mission, vision, and values,” said Lynn O’Connor.  Myers is a member of the Financial Advisory Panel of the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities – Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a BA in accounting from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
